#39 Five Minutes A Day Keeps Bad Vibes Away

Do you ever find yourself stuck in your head, thinking about all the things that could go wrong? If so, you're not alone. Many of us tend to dwell on negativity and what-ifs, which can prevent us from getting things done.

Granted, it's our responsibility as property managers to forecast and prepare for worst-case scenarios.

Unfortunately, we can spin out into analysis paralysis and reduce our productivity.

When it comes to getting things done, we all have our own methods and techniques. But sometimes, even when we know what needs to be done, we can't seem to get started.

We might procrastinate or become perfectionists, second-guessing every decision we make. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. In fact, this is a common issue that property managers face.

Journaling can be a powerful tool for property managers who find themselves stuck in their heads.

By writing down our thoughts and feelings, we can gain clarity on the issues that are holding us back and take action to move forward. Journaling allows us to express ourselves without judgement or criticism, helping us identify patterns of behavior that may be hindering our progress.

It also encourages creativity by allowing us to explore possibilities and solutions that wouldn’t have been available otherwise.

Writing out our worries and anxieties helps us put things into perspective, enabling us to make decisions with more confidence.

Lastly, journaling is an effective way of tracking our progress over time so we can measure how far we've come since starting out.

You’ve heard me preach about the power of journaling and thoughtwork - now it’s time for you to witness it for yourself.
