My Addiction to Busyness: A Real-Life Check-In

After more than six months away from the mic, I’m finally back—and if you work in property management, you probably already know why. I got busy. In this episode, I’m sharing a real-life check-in on the past year: taking over a larger property, changing companies, stepping into a new role, traveling for speaking engagements, and navigating the constant juggling act that comes with this industry. After a recent presentation, someone asked me a question that stuck with me: “How do you do it all?” I don’t. Sometimes the podcast gets put on hold so I can take a dance class. Sometimes career opportunities mean sacrificing parts of my social life. And lately, I’ve been choosing to invest more time in my own well-being rather than constantly pushing for the next professional milestone. In this episode, I talk about: The tradeoffs behind “doing it all” How busy seasons force us to choose what matters Why perfection isn’t the goal The small habits that helped me stay grounded during a demanding year If you’ve ever felt stretched thin trying to balance work, life, and everything in between—this one’s for you. Because the goal isn’t doing everything. It’s choosing what matters most.
